Alisea: new life to matter

At the first edition of Milano HOME, a virtuous example of transforming waste and discarded materials into furniture, accessories and stationery items

The first edition of Milano HOME, which will be held from 11 to 14 January 2024 at fieramilano Rho, brings together professionals, companies, retailers and enthusiasts from the home décor sector, and is aimed at promoting innovative and sustainable solutions for contemporary living, emphasizing design, technology and creativity.

Among the flagship initiatives, The Green Circle project by bioclimatic architect Isabella Goldmann creatively addresses the theme of recycling, thus highlighting its virtuous effects in terms of circular economy.

Alisea will be among the companies taking part in the exhibition. Since 1994, it has focused on transforming waste into innovative products, inspiring positive behaviour through design. The company is committed to creating ethical and transparent supply chains, thus helping solve the waste management problem and promoting sustainable solutions. In 2019, it obtained the legal status of 'Benefit Society'.

Susanna Martucci, CEO and Founder, explained: “every day we are inspired by our love for change. In order to achieve the goal we set for ourselves, we are inspired by the philosophy of 'Why not?'. The same philosophy that drove Hendrix, Pollock, Chanel, as well as the inventors of chicken curry and Spritz, to go beyond, to overcome constraints, rules and preconceptions, to walk innovative paths, avoid customs, to think and act, as we are now used to say, 'Out of The Box'."
